Cosy cottage in an exceptional location. Must-see attractions like Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove Beach and Lulworth Castle are extremely close, within walking distance or a few mins drive. Limehouse Hotel which offers a lovely afternoon cream tea is across the road! The Castle Inn, an atmospheric pub that is bustling when the sun is out, is only a few mins walk away. Other plusses about Little Forge were each having own bathrooms with a nice, easy-to-operate rain shower. Place was safe, scenic, warm indoors and quiet. Accommodation is quite roomy surprisingly.
Place was clean but could do with a white glove. Certain furnishings like the living room table glass top were worse for wear. Our pillows were not very comfortable, the duvet was too heavy a tog for this time of year and the mattress retained a lot of heat so not the most comfortable. For sleeping, we weren't confident to leave the windows open as on ground floor where someone could enter quite easily - could do with safety catches, despite this feeling like a safe area. I think there is a tank for the shower as when the 4 of us returned from the beach, 2 had a hot shower and 2 had to have a cold shower as no more hot water - would have been good to know this in advance. We found aspects of the booking conditions such as no early check-in, no late check-out, no extra towels or tissue rolls, a bit overly strict and not very warm compared to our past experiences on AirBnB so unsure about using Booking.com again for our accommodation.
